HOLY SHIT! DDR is WAY more fun than I remember! Lili and I went to the avalon and danced it up for an hour and a half almost, just like we did on our first date...it was sweet. I'm a little worn out, but in my defense, I'm both sick and wearing a sweater and polyester pants. None of which is conducive to extended dance-related madness. Man, I need to get me some of that sweet ddr action at home...

For the love of all that is good in this world, GO SEE KUNG FU HUSTLE!
Seriously, this movie was THE BEST thing i've seen since...the first time i saw Monty Python and the Holy Grail. It was that. good. movies have no right to be that great, i mean, the world just doesn't seem the same after something that spectacular. I don't even really want to go see other movies now...I could just go see kung fu hustle again. Picture Charlie Chaplin and Jackie Chan mixed together with a little bit of Buster Keaton thrown in, and there you have Steven Chow, actor, writer, director, producer, genius. Now mix a highly trained group of kung-fu stuntmen with the three stooges and you have his cast. Now give them a top-notch script. Now go make out with Jesus. And there you have Kung Fu Hustle.
While you're at it, watch Shaolin Soccer and God of Cookery. They're both at movie madness, and you have no excuse to have not seen them.

Man. I filed my tax returns on thursday, and hey, life rocks! I payed roughly 1000 dollars in federal and state taxes last year, i'm getting 892 dollars back. I think I'm gonna buy a PSP, along with get my costumes for the upcoming anime convention, as well as set up airfare to vegas for a huge fighting game tournament, AND GO TO PAX! thus leaving me free to spend the rest of my earned money in equally frivolous ventures. And seriously guys, if you haven't watched the last two links I posted, DO IT!

tho, ibe juft had by withdom theeth thaken outh, abd I think I ab recoberig nithly. The whole thalking thing ith kinda botherin be, but ib gettig uthed tho it. In reality, Im actually recovering very quickly. They were out yesterday, and today I'm already up and moving around. I've got energy galore, but Im hungry as sin and my head won't quite unfog due to the anesthesia I was on, but I haven't really needed my painkillers with any frequency and Im really looking forward to having my jaw being less cramped, but right now i still feel like a chipmunk with a mouthful of the worlds most unhappy acorns. In the meantime though, I just need to wait for lili to come visit me in my delerium and bring me tasty things like a laptop and my PS2. there's apparently a Tekken 5 tourney on sunday that i'd like to make it to, but who knows how well Im gonna do. Anyway, i'm moving back in with my folks for a bit, gonna try to be here as little as possible, but we'll see how things go. Just waiting for mark and max to get off their lazy asses and find employment so we can move forward on getting a place together. you hear me max? GET A JOB!

So, Lili's computer problems leaked their way into my house on friday. Izzy downloaded an illegal hack for World of Warcraft. That's problem no. 1
here's a comprehensive list.
1: illegal dowload
2: said download contained a little virus
3: said virus offered to download a big-ok fuckton o' viruses to which she agreed
4: those viruses wound up on my network when I was trying to fix lili's laptop
5: The power draw on lili's laptop was intense to the point that when I came back inside to pack it up, my bedclothes were smoking.
6: Had I not called in to ask if I could work at 5:00 instead of 3:30, it probably would have cought fire.
7: Had I not worked on it as late as I had the night prior, it probably would have done the whole burning thing while I was sleeping.
8: My network is still fucked, my internet works in spurts now, and I'm gonna have to replace windows xp, possibly even my router, depending on where the damage was done, I don't know.
9: I haven't slept more than 5 hours a night for the past 6 days, and it's finally starting to wear me down.

So, I skipped out on my weekly nerd-fest in which I play a ton of video games till way to early the next morning and went instead to reed. while at reed I put on some padded gloves and beat the living CRAP out of my friends rob, kenneth, alex, and dan. The fist of righteousness crashed down on rob's unemployed, roleplaying-game-postponing kidneys and even delivered a few of its wrathful blows to the back of hislack of social skills head. But now he has a job, and starts work on monday, so I will have to find new reasons to kick his ass. Oh, and I have the Katamari Damacy soundtrack, and it makes me happy.

I talk to the people that would read this in real life, and have probably vented some frustrations or expresssed joy about how my life rocks already.
In any case. Painting. It's fun. Who knew? I always wondered why those trees were so happy. in related news. Thai Kickboxing. It's fun. Totally badass. I miss bob though, he was the worlds smallest tank. Little 5'6 guy whose kicks routinely lifted me off the ground. He was damn fun to train with.
World Of Warcraft. It's fun. Too bad I can't play it because of my godamn cocksuckingasspiratingbabyeating laptop won't hook up to my network properly for NO GODDAMN REASON WHATSOEVER. I actually changed it's name from Tao, to Moloch. Moloch being the ceremonial consumption of human babies. It pisses me off to no end.
Physics. Really cool. Who knew? Turns out I could get some letters of reccomendation to Reed based soley on my performance in Phys 101 and conversations with the teacher. And Reed has a badass Physics department.

I'm surprised I beat Lili to posting about this one. I got my laptop in the mail on monday, that rocked in all kinds of ways. I've now installed World of Warcraft on it and lili and I are having lots of fun running around killing things as night elves. I can't wait until I get to turn into a bear. In any case, that game has indeed stolen my soul, if it weren't for server resets, I'd probably still be playing, but I got lucky and the game got shut down for a few minutes, so maybe I'll make it to bed before I get sucked back in.
Im sure you've all been introduced to Lili's laptop, Tomie, which is all creepy and red. Mine is sleek and silvery and non-gendered, so I named it Tao, for lack of anything else to do. I play WoW on Tao and now I have become utterly engrossed. It is quite the soul-stealing game, and I suggest you all go buy a copy now while you still have the chance. Blizzard's servers are getting beaten to death by the huge influx of players and now they've stopped shipping copies of the game until they get things settled down in the mantainence department.
My god that game is engrossing. I'd be better at it if I weren't inspired to hunt and kill every monster I see, whether they are aggresive, or even worth my time...I don't care, I just want them to die...

Yeah, I know, I should be shot for having said that, but oh well. Anyway, It's cold as an eskimo's girlfriend and I don't like it. My parents are out of town and I'm housesitting for them and taking care of my sister instead of going to seattle and kicking ass at Tekken 5 and Guilty gear. That kinda sucks, but I've set up weekly tekken tourneys at the avalon, go ahead and call me nerdy if you like, but I'm accomplishing things in that ass-backwards establishment, and that rocks.
In other news. You all need to watch Serial Experiments Lain. It rocks, it's confusing as hell, and the animation is way way way cool.

Okay, fuck that. I went and fixed that too. Goddamn old woman. Oh well, it's totally awesome now. except she kinda looks like George W. from this angle, and I'm not really sure what to think of that. Kind of a lot, actually. but I totally busted out a whole ton of awesome on this painting, it's really good considering I've never really painted before. Why is it that I only hit my stride after 1:30 in the morning listening to really angry music? Why can't it be at 2:00 in the afternoon listening to ska, or something like that. Apparently Insomnia + (NIN, Tool, Filter, Deftones)= ability to make decent artwork. It's mathematically proven!
In related Me being awesome news, I've become something of an minor celebrity among the street fighter coummunity as I took 3rd place in a Tekken 5 tournament Sunday night, and, in the process, beat the hell out of Ray. This is cool, because, although ray came back from the losers bracket and took 1st, I beat him once, and he's really freaking good. So good, in fact, that he's never lost a match in a Tekken 5 tournament to date. Except for me. Woo!
Maybe I'll add some red to the painting in the morning...

I think she's finally done. Stupid old woman I'm painting, I hate her so much now, but it looks pretty cool. It's fucking 3:20 right now, and I could stay up another couple of hours and paint til my eyes bleed, but I've got a can of red bull in front of me and it's looking pretty tasty, so I know I should be sleeping right now. in any case, I...Oh fuck. There's a twig on the side of the painting that I only just now realized is the wrong color...God dammit, I just washed my brushes too... Maybe I'll fingerpaint that part. It can't hurt...right?
